Ultrabite Fish Products
1. What is pheromone? Pheromone is a natural chemical material developed by living creatures which produces a spontaneous reaction from the entities developing the pheromone and the entities around them. Pheromones have been helping communication within the animal world and among people. During the evolution of people, the role of pheromone has been pushed into the background by realizing the colours and developing the speech in the communication, however, for the animal world it is still one of the most determinant form for keeping touch and regulating behaviour. These natural chemical compounds are responsible among others for sexual behaviour, identifying the same species and enemies, information on emergency and safety, formation of sensation of hunger and fear. This is a communication form used most commonly by fish. The fish are producing the pheromone in their rectum which is getting into the water and from there into the brain through the organ of small where it influences their own behaviour and that of their mates. Factor X is a natural fish Pheromone and which induces stereotypic and strong feeding behaviour. 2. What is Factor-X? Factor X is one of the ingredients of the Ultrabite formulation, it is the pheromone identified by CEFAS’s scientits and induces very vigorous feeding urge in fish. 3. How does Ultrabite work? There are two parts to the Ultrabite formulation: the first part developed by KIOTECH actually attracts the fish over quite a long range and brings them into the angler's swim. The second part of the formulation is the factor X that has been developed by CEFAS’s scientists and induces fish to feed vigorously. In order to get the correct formulation and concentration within Ultrabite it was needed to carry out some very sophisticated electrophysiological techniques. These involve the measuring the responses from the receptors in the nose of the fish in relation to the pheromones in the Ultrabite developed by CEFAS. After carrying out these investigations it has been known exactly the amount of the different chemicals which are needed to put into the formulation that brings about the maximum response. What makes this particular product different from all the others on the market is factor X, which is a natural fish pheromone which has been developed within CEFAS and which induces stereotypic and strong feeding behaviour in fish. 4. Can Ultrabite be used in cold or warm water alike? Yes, but according to experiences, in cold water when the fish catch more slowly and carefully, the catches become more aggressive and vigorous, while in warm water it could be really effective when keeping the rule, that it may not be mixed with other aroma and when using it only in smaller quantity. 5. What kind of fish can be caught by using Ultrabite General Course Fish? Crucian carp, bodorkát, vörösszárnyú keszeget, fresh water brean, but we can catch with it carp, grass carp, asp, stickleback and tench, as well. 6. Can we use ground bait mixed with Ultrabite next day, as well? The Ultra Bait ground bait can be used next day, too, because the mixture of ground bait has proved without Ultrabite many times that is a favourite food of fish, while Ultrabite loses its effect next day, only its smell remains. .Before fishing a new portion of Ultrabite has to be mixed into the Ultra Bait ground bait. It is important not to store the mixed ground bait in a warm place, because it becomes sour, and do not put it into the luggage compartment of a car or into a closed room because the strong smell can not be easily stopped. 7. How to use Ultrabite for spinning? You can drop it onto the surface of the lures or by spraying on it, or on a sponge being fixed before the artificial lure. The soft lures could be soaked with Ultrabite while storing in a closed dish, this kind of lures and twisters can imbibe it easily but changing the lures on the twister hooks is very circumstantial due to the smell of Ultrabite. 8. Can we use Ultrabite together with other ground baits or only with Ultra Bait? Yes, you can use it but only to the ground baits without aroma. Ultra Bait has been developed to use it together with Ultrabite to have the best effect. The experiments in laboratories and tests during fishing confirm unanimously that we cannot achieve results similar and accustomed result to Ultrabite when mixing Ultrabite with other, very aromatic substance. The reason is for it partly because the too intensive smell effect may influence the fish alarmingly, partly the strong aromas are stopping the receptors in fish nose therefore Ultrabite cannot reach their brain. 9. How can we use Ultrabite to boilie fishing? The boilies and pellets should always be sprinkled with freshly opened Ultrabite. The ration depends on the quantity and temperature of the water. It is the best way to make some trials to find the right ration for them. At the beginning 5 or 10 vials should be used for 2 kg ground baits, so that Ultrabite could be place close to the buoy. If the fish get the habit to being there, it is enough to food them once a day with1 kg gorund bait and 1 vial of Ultrabite. It is worth to use boilie balls and to paint them or to simply use fresh Ultra Bait deep boilie. Caution: Ultrabite may not be cooked, in this condition it can be used only to make the ready boilie balls to be aromatic. 10. Does the effect of Ultrabite weaken by frozen? It does not become weaker, but if it will be reached by water or when cooking, it degrades. Cold does not have any effect on it. 11. What is the correct mixing ratio? To 500-800 gram ground bait 1 or maximum 2 vials Ultrabite are recommended. A bigger quantity could produce a negative effect and it could even be frightening for the fish. 12. Is Ultrabite harmful for environment, fish, vegetables and people? The developer of Ultrabite, CEFAS (Research Institute at the Ministry of British Agriculture) is basically responsible for preserving the aquatic environment, developing environment-friendly technology for the future. When developing Ultrabite, it was a basic view of points to put into the market an environment-friendly product, in 100 % free from harmful effect.
